FACT SHEET

• Progressive Home Care is a private, Home Care Agency, originally established in August 2006 to serve the aging population of all of Northern New Jersey and some parts of New York.
•  Our program serves those with physical or cognitive deficits as well as those looking for a safe, secure environment that provides socialization and stimulation with-in their own home or facilities. 
• Funding sources to assist participants include several county programs, JACC, CAP, funding from the N.J. State Department of Health, Our Geriatric Case Manager will assist families with all funding options.  However, some long term care insurance policies do provide coverage. 
• Progressive operates Monday through Friday with regular hours from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.  We also have a 24-hour Phone service, which you can get a live person at any time. 
• Our application procedure includes a Nurse Assessment at the client’s home or facility.  At that time all of our documents the nurse will go over and they must be signed. 
• All of our Caregivers are trained to help your love ones with all of their ADL’s such as: bathing, dressing, and light housekeeping, cooking to dietary needs, companionship, personal care, Respite and Hospices care and medication reminders. 
• Progressive Home Care consists of a broad range of services.  Maybe all you need is a companion to help run your home more smoothly or even some assistance with those Activities of Daily Living that are becoming more difficult to complete.  Our services can be molded to suit your needs.

• Progressive Home Care provides counseling and two free monthly Caregiver Support Groups that are open to the public.  The Alzheimer’s Group meets on the first Monday evening of the month from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and the Spouses Support Group meets on the second Tuesday afternoon from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.  Please contact the Agency to confirm dates due to Holiday schedules or inclement weather.  Individual and family counseling sessions are available on a sliding fee scale.  Please contact the Center to arrange for an appointment.
